Management

Mr. Miller obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering in 1985 and a Master’s degree in Rock Mechanics in 1987 from the University of Laval. He began his career as a consultant for Golder’s Associates in Toronto. In 1988 he joined the Noranda Technology Center where he developed and patented several technologies while discovering his taste for measurements and efficiency. From 1996 to 2003, he was the founding director of SIAMTec, a mining automation firm. In 2008, he founded TSO, a consulting firm in technology and energy efficiency. Since then, he has successfully completed several energy projects in the mining industry often in collaboration with multiple firms and complementary partners, enabling mining companies to obtain tens of millions of dollars in financial assistance. Mr. Miller is a fervent believer in measurements and technology, often quoted as saying ‘if it doesn’t exist I will develop it’. This was the driving force that led him to found Intelligence Nemesis in 2013, a mining techno development company with a unique platform using photogrammetry, LiDAR and artificial intelligence.

Mark was trained and qualified in South Africa with a Nation Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1992 and has built a career spanning almost 30 years in the Engineering and Underground Hard Rock Mining, Industries. Mark spent time working for some of the best-known OEM suppliers like Atlas Copco and Sandvik, Mining, and then ultimately founded and managed the maXem group of companies. maXem specialised in long-hole drilling equipment design, manufacture and support, also, distributor representation for a number of international OEM’s such as CMAC, Wassara, and Montabert, and also providing full contract mining solutions. One highlight of Mark’s career was establishing and supporting the Thermal Mining Method in South Africa and hands on operation of this method for a period of about 2 years. During this time, extensive experience was obtained that allowed for equipment and operating processes to be dramatically improved.

Mr. Stella is a seasoned IR manager, held a Vice-president’s position with a large well known investor relations firm and senior administrative positions over a 15-year period in the banking industry, commercial financing section. An active participant in community activities, for 7 years he was president of the Ride For Dad (Montreal chapter), a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness for the fight against prostate cancer and over the past 10 years he has been a volunteer at a Montreal hospital.

Ken K.J Onoda-Song

Director

Mr. Onoda-Song has extensive experience in international business working with clients and partners around the globe as a successful consultant and advisor and board member of several businesses. For nearly a decade he assisted the Company in business development and investor relations and has also acted as our Board Secretary. Having studied and lived in both Asia and North America, attending American schools since kindergarten, including Canadian Academy and MCU of California, his embracement and understanding of both cultures has given him the background essential for international business. Mr. Onoda-Song is the key person in establishing and maintaining a bridge between Canada and Asia and his vast business network and personal connections worldwide is a major asset to the Company.

Marcel Laflamme

Director

Mr. Laflamme has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry. He joined InnovExplo in 2018 and is recognized for his team management and technological innovation skills as well as his versatility in mining engineering. At InnovExplo, he mainly contributes to mandates for economic studies, design, optimization and planning of open pit and underground mines, in addition to contributing to engineering study mandates. Mr. Laflamme obtained a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from Laval University (Quebec) in 1981, a master’s degree in mining engineering from Laval University (Quebec) in 1985, as well as a doctorate in mining engineering from Laval University (Quebec) in 1990. Before joining InnovExplo, Marcel Laflamme notably worked for Laval University in the mining engineering department as a lecturer, teaching assistant, assistant professor, and associate professor. He also worked for Natural Resources Canada as a research scientist and regional director – Ecological mining technology in Val-d’Or. He was also a scientific researcher for the Mineral Research Center – Mineral Technology Service.

Frank Guillemette ​

Advisor

Mr. Guillemette is an entrepreneur specializing in business finance and venture capital with over 20 years’ experience. Mr. Guillemette launched his career as an employee of Fonds Régional de Solidarité Nord-du-Québec where he was responsible for managing the company’s regional mining portfolio and was accountable for the associated financial duties. In 2004, he founded 9148-5706 Quebec Inc., a private company operating as Multi-Ressources Boréal (“Multi-Resource Boreal“) where he remains active in the management of exploration campaigns and mining land brokerage. Among other successfully executed gold property transactions are the Black Dog project that was sold to Osisko Mining in February 2016 as well as the Monster Lake project a few years earlier and on which IAMGold developed a resource of 1.1 Mt at 12 g / t Au.. He was also responsible for managing multi-million-dollar exploration fieldwork on gold, base metals, phosphorus, iron, titanium and tungsten projects. Mr. Guillemette has also been working for more than 4 years as a “representative of an exempt market dealer” for a Montreal-based exempt market dealer, EMD Financial Inc. In 2016, Mr. Guillemette was awarded the prospector of the year award from the AEMQ. In 2018, he founded the private company Mines Royales Québec and concluded an option agreement with Soquem on the Philibert gold project. At the end of 2020, Hornby Bay Mineral Exploration Ltd (TSX-V: HBE) announced the acquisition of all the shares of Mines Royales Québec. Mr. Guillemette will be a controlling shareholder by holding more than 20% of the issued share capital and a director of Hornby Bay Mineral Exploration Ltd.

Mr. Fontaine was Vice-President of Diagnos from 2005 to 2017, director of Metanor Resources Inc. from 2014 to 2018, director of Majescor Resources Inc. from 2015 to 2017 and currently a director of Puma Exploration since 2020. He also held the position of Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Windfall Geotek from 2017 to March 2021 a Canadian corporation offering a proven and industry-leading digital platform leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to significantly improve outcomes in the exploration, development, operations, and financing of geologically focused projects.
